The Collector of All Things “Design”

If you are like me, you love grazing through design magazines and books. I do have my favorite publications…Veranda, Southern Home, British Home and Gardens and so on. I also have quite a collection of beautiful design books. I have found that my taste and magazine/design book selections has evolved through the years. I love all styles of décor and architecture, but I now find myself gravitating towards the “mix”. The “mix” is a blend of different design styles…for example traditional, antiques, contemporary and Bohemian, all rolled into one unique style. I save most of my “better” magazines. You know, the ones that have so many good ideas that you can’t bear to tear out clippings. I have small clear bins for my clippings. I have them separated into different categories…design ideas, kitchen and bath ideas, accessories and florals, holiday. Another wonderful way to keep your favorite ideas handy is to start a Pinterest page. It’s like a personal bulletin board filled with all of the things that you love.
